Highwaypup writes "My Chocolate Labrador Retriever SirJack, competed in the 2008 Super Retriever Series in Miami Oklahoma this past week. Sirjack ran against 65 of the best dogs in the country. In the first hunt test, Sirjack qualified 13th out of 60 dogs! Only 35 retrievers advanced to the next series, Sirjack being one of them.
In the second series, Sirjack finished 4th out of the remaining 35 dogs left in the Series. This qualified him to advance to the 3rd series semi finals of the overall Super Retriever Series competition.
Sirjack was now competing against the top 12 dogs in the country. Sirjack gave it his all and finish in 6th place! He missed advancing to the finals by one place and or one dog in front of him! His journey ended today, Saturday April 12th, 2008; but everyone said that his performance was incredible and he showed one of the biggest hearts out of all the dogs in the competition.
Sirjack will be taking home a purse of $800 and the respect of all the competitors, trainers and judges that were present. I can't tell you how proud I am of my dog!
Sirjack is my buddy and my little chocolate champion!
