This same story is covered on Sky News but reports that the family's dog has died after being bitten by this spider Sad

Very odd as solifuge's aren't venomous, I wonder how that happened?? We used to have them in Botswana, they run fast and have big fangs, but don't have venom sacs, and I never saw one using the internet either!

Somebody responded to the Sky version saying it was sensationalism as they aren`t poisonous, could be shock that killed the dog or maybe it had something else wrong with it and it was easy to say the spider did it.
